Around Week 8, when babies begin to be more wakeful for longer periods, LMS staff is often asked, “I know how to feed and help baby nap, but what do I do with my baby? What are good activities for my little one?”

The answer is that your baby is interested in everything, so even simple activities, like sitting on the porch listening to birds is an activity. The first year, when baby is young and “portable” is also the perfect opportunity to go to a coffee house to catch up on email or strap on your sling to visit museums and historical sites.
