About Us

The role of the Registered Nurse or Newborn Care Provider is to feed, soothe, bathe, change & provide all other gentle care to baby through the night.

About Us

We've been proudly serving the DMV since 2010! Our Night Nurses (RN/LPN) and Newborn Care Providers (NCP) support postpartum families with infants and twins. Our Nurses are all clinically licensed and our newborn care providers are NAPS Certified. Owners Joy Becker, LPN and Jasmin Brunnelson are both moms and have been part of Let Mommy Sleep for over 12 years!

Here’s how we can help from pregnancy to postpartum:

Baby Basics Classes: Learn to swaddle, understand infant sleep and safety or get ready for newborn twins with an in-home class taught by a Maternity Nurse. $100/hour

  • you can have as many friends and family members join the class as you want!

  • Topics include: daily newborn care, what to do in an emergency and breastfeeding and bottle-feeding.

  • Continued contact with your Nurse via phone, text or video chat is encouraged.

Night Nanny Care: Overnights usually happen from 10pm-6a. Here's how a placement works:

  1. Let us know the dates you’d like to have care. (We know sometimes it’s a guess and that’s okay!)

  2. We present a highly qualified, licensed or certified candidate. You're welcome to connect!

  3. Through the night caregivers are responsible for feeding, care and household tasks related to baby (like cleaning/sanitizing the breast pump or bottles). If you’re breastfeeding we bring baby to you and we’re always ready to provide evidence-based education and help your baby get on a schedule and sleeping through the night if you wish.

Postpartum Check-Ups: $100/hour A Registered Nurse visits within 3-4 days after you arrive home with your newborn to bridge the gap between birth and the OB visit at 6 weeks. This early intervention means better mental and physical health outcomes, breastfeeding success and minimizes hospital readmissions.
