2013 was a very eventful year for Let Mommy Sleep. We are proud to have grown our staff to include 30 nurses, and now have a support team of 5 industry experts helping us in the front office. We were the presenting sponsor at the luxury baby expo, A Baby Affair, in the spring and fall. Our company, as well as its non-profit arm Mission:Sleep, received local and national press to include the Washington Post, Fox News Channel, News Channel 8, WTOP radio, and many more. Let Mommy Sleep was also honored nationally as a leading women-owned business by the US Chamber of Commerce, and we serve on the Board of ECPI Medical Careers University in Manassas.
LMS continues to drive the baby care conversation, and we were proud to provide content and informative articles for outlets such as Working Mother Magazine, What to Expect When You’re Expecting, Washington FAMILY Magazine, and Mom.me. Our motto is that through outreach and education, we can help new families ” thrive, not just survive. ”
The new year of 2014 brings the promise of a bright future to LMS. We already have speaking engagements, educational articles and media appearances on our agenda and are counting down the days until we reveal our new high-concept website. 2014 is also the year that Let Mommy Sleep will be expanding into other markets beyond Washington DC.
Despite all these exciting changes, our company remains driven by providing quality, individualized, overnight care to newborns. Our clinically trained caregivers love educating parents in the early days of parenthood, and their specific and detailed approach to care continues to make LMS the leader in newborn care in the Washington DC metro area.
We thank you for allowing us to be part of the fabric of Washington DC parenting and are truly honored to assist our families.
Happy New Year!
Denise Stern, President and CEO of Let Mommy Sleep
